Sofia woke up crying at 10pm, just as Mike and I turned off the light to sleep. Once again she was given nerofen and breast milk, but it took awhile to calm her properly. I tried to put her to sleep when she was tired – like I normally do, but she started crying again… so I just nursed her until she fell asleep. Just as I got up with her she woke up and I thought ‘oh here we go again’, but this time she let me put her down. It all took about 45minutes. Next time she woke me was at 3.30ish with a bit of whinging, and every 20min or so after that until I went in at 5am. Finally she woke up at 7.30am. We read books and Sofia had breakfast before we played for a bit. Then it was time for her morning nap and Mike made us breakfast. After we ate I decided to have a nap myself… 2 hours later!!! She’d slept for 2.5 hours – that’s a daytime record.
When she woke up from her nap we decided to go to Baby Bunting to have a look at a travel stroller and a bassinet. We left with nothing, but we need to call the different airlines to find out how we need to do this… We sat down for lunch – and we had brought lunch for Sofia as well. It was quite nice, although a bit rushed. As soon as we got back I put Sofia to bed whilst Mike took Pablo to get washed, nails clipped and ears cleaned. He came back looking and smelling soooo good :).
Sofia slept for another 1.5 hours, she woke an hour before dinner time so we decided to give ‘mormor’ and ‘morfar’ a call. Great to see my mum (dad wasn’t home) and even better to see Sofia’s reaction. She is really starting to recognise her – straight away she startet ‘talking’ and squealing…
Mike had 1.5 hour sleep whilst spooning Pablo – sooo cute ha ha.
After dinner the night time routine started as normally. It took Sofia a long time to find sleep, but hopefully she will have a good night…
