Sofia and I went to get some groceries… She was in the new carrier (ergobaby), which has a little hood-thing you can put up over her head for support and shield from the sun/wind/rain. It’s great, and she even managed to fall asleep in there – even if it only was for 40min.
Kaylene and Andrew came over and spent a few hours – they got kicked out of their house whilst there was an open home followed by an inspection. They have bought a house about 10min drive from us, instead of the 45min drive it currently is. I am very much looking forward to having them closer!
Pablo was on his best behaviour today, except when I turned away for a few min and Andrew had gotten in the kitchen. Pablo jumped on him and tried to hump him – so he made poor Andrew cry – and for that he had to go outside for awhile.
I sat with Pablo in the yard, and threw a stick with him for a little while. Then he started walking around with a biscuit in his mouth – searching and searching… Then he put it in a whole he’d been digging and proceeded to shovel dirt on top. I thought it was funny so I took some photos, and he must have thought oh no my secret stash has been found because he then hurried up and picked it up again. It got eaten pretty quickly after that. Funny dog – I love him 🙂
After they left I spent 2 hours trying to get her to sleep. In the end all that worked was letting her fall asleep – and stay asleep – with the boob in her mouth. She protested a little bit when we put her to bed after about 45min, but not much. Think she was quite happy to sleep at that stage.
