Today is our fourth swimming lesson. She only woke up at 8am and that screwed up the schedule, so I tried to get her to sleep for at least 30 minutes… but she would have none of that. So no sleep before our class…
She did so well in class today. She closed her eyes when the trainer poured water over her head. She should be ready to get her head under soon. I will probably let the trainer do it a few times first – I’m not feeling that confident I will do it smooth and calm so she will be calm as well… It’s definitely fun to see her doing so well and being soooo relaxed in the water. It makes sense to do it this early, I only wish someone had done that with me (sorry mum, not trying to make you feel bad. Just thoughts that are being brought forward by this experience). I really don’t want her to be as scared of the water as I am 🙂
She usually gets very tired after this session and will sleep for awhile, but not this time… I gave her a good feed, but she woke up after about a 30 minute sleep and just would not sleep anymore. Gave her more of a feed, but no sleep. Such an exhausting day! I was lucky that Mike had cooked two chicken breasts the night before and that we had salad in the fridge because she didn’t give me much time to do anything today.
Decided to put her down an hour early, but still ended up being the same time as usual

So good to hear. I wished I had done that too – but sorry – did not know about it and Nothing near by. Even more sorry Arjan did not. But you have to go to Oslo, and as you know you are tired when you have baby.
About Sofia and not sleeping: she spes not want to miss anything just like her mother. ……

Absolutely great to learn to swim so early, and she really enjoys the water, all the babies seem to do just that, enjoy it. It would have been lovely to have such facilities earlier, well, we are progressing……-:)
