The gala isn’t until the 20th of February, however there is a few things to take care of. The dress is bought and I have made an appointment at the hair dresser for an upstyle and make-up, but nothing else is done. I need to get a clutch and a pair of shoes. The girl in the shop where I bought the dress suggested silver/sparkly shoes and handbag and hanging ear-rings and I think she might be on to something? But I am not very good at putting outfits together… She also said it should be not just silver/sparkly but other ‘metals’ as well… Not sure about that but maybe on the clutch? I don’t even know if shoes with the highest heel will be high enough or if the dress needs to be taken up (or if it can be taken up?). I really don’t want to ruin the dress…
Anyway… I met up with Maja and Tian today and decided I might as well see if I could find some shoes. Not easy with two babies, but we did get into one store, had a coffee and a nice talk. Baby brain is till hitting hard – I nearly left the car door open after parking the car! Good thing I remembered I had forgotten the carrier and decided to go back (only 10 meters away)… Sofia fell asleep for the first time in the pram… but didn’t last long when Tian got a bit vocal ha ha. Then I got home, fed Sofia and put her down for a nap. She fell asleep instantly, then I got a visit from Kaylene and Andrew, then Andrew got a bit vocal and she woke up and refused to sleep until bedtime. Oh well that’s the life of babies 🙂
