Today is Australia Day so Mike has the day off. He decided to take Sofia to the mall for a few hours so I could get some sleep – isn’t that very sweet?! Soooo nice! After eating and trying to find a comfortable position with the eye-cover-thing my mum left behind when she was visiting (not sure she meant to, but she’s not getting them back lol – sorry mum!) I only ended up with about 20min or so sleep, but boy that felt good! And just to lay down and relax – sooooooo good 🙂
Mike came back with two pairs of white gold ear rings! Oh yay! They are sooooo beautiful! Thank you my love xxx
Vibeke (yes she’s Norwegian) and Rob came over for an early dinner, that Mike prepared for us (thank you Mike :)). That was very nice. I do miss adult company – so it’s great with these kind of interactions every now and then.
Sofia was charming Vibeke… after she refused to go down for a nap. She knew we had company and wanted to entertain I think. We thought if we’d just let her cry for a bit (going in and letting her know we’re there in between of course) she’d eventually go to sleep. No such luck. She just got louder little girl – and boy oh boy was she persistent. We ended up picking her up and she got to come out and entertain us for awhile – after she had settled down. Poor thing had red puffy eyes and a sniffle. I feel like such a bad mom :(. What are you supposed to do when they don’t want to sleep and they clearly are tired …. I thought I knew the theory, but….

What a husband! (but I already knew….)
One thing is theory – another thing is reality, with YOUR child 😉 hahahaha
So you are mingling with the Norwegian????? Didn´t you say you would not – some years ago….?
And Mona the eye-thing was left behind for you to use in the day, trying to sleep in daylight 🙂

Yeah he’s not half bad 😉
Hmmm the no mingling part was mostly at uni, but that proved to be impossible not to do ha ha. Now it’s just nice to be able to speak Norwegian sometimes, although I do it with Sofia most days.
