Sofia woke up at about 6.30am. I got her and we watched something in bed for a few minutes before I gave her a snack bag. We got her into the stroller and took Pablo for a walk to a cafe for brekky. Sofia had a few crackers on the way and did a bit of walking whilst Pablo was on the beach.
Once again Sofia did not eat much for brekky – even though she had heaps to choose between. Afterwards we stopped at the nearby playground and let Sofia play for awhile before we went home. Even with my warnings about heading home she still had a tantrum when it came time to go home. I had to carry her to the stroller whilst she was kicking and crying/screaming. She also tried to bite my neck!
When we got back Mike got ready and went to work (all the way to Maleny for one inspection on a Sunday – bah). I saw the ‘Frozen’ dress we had bought for her yesterday on the table and put that on her. She loved it! Before I knew it she’d found the ‘Frozen’ DVD and demanded I put it on. How could I refuse… It was getting so late I decided to put Sofia to bed before the movie was over (only about 15min left) and I don’t think that was very popular. New tantrum…
After I had said goodnight she talked to her toys and played for about 20minutes before she fell asleep. Once again Sofia woke up after just one hour, but this time she laid herself back down and went to sleep for another 1.5hours.
Mike got home from work about 10minutes before Sofia woke up. When she woke up we went shopping at the mall. We got her a trolley in the shape of a car ($5 for an hour!). It was fun for about 10minutes and then she wanted up, and back in etc. She’s big on changing her mind these days.
When we got home Mike fixed up the guest room bed etc so that when Sofia new bed gets here in the next few days her room will be ready. I made dinner. Nani Claire came over during dinner and Mike helped her with her iPad. Sofia didn’t eat much for dinner and refused both carrot and pumpkin which she’s always loved… She kept rubbing her eyes at the table poor girl. I thought she was done so started cleaning her up when she said more… I realised she wanted more meat (she’d eaten it all). By the end of it she’d eaten a whole pork chop! I got her to eat a few vegetables in between, but it was s struggle and a few tears until she realised I just wanted her to have a bite… and a bite of any of the vegetables… After dinner Nani Claire left and Sofia had a bath before bedtime.
Sofia woke up proper crying at about 11pm. Then she woke me up at about 12.30am. First she was standing up in bed making a few noises and then she got more vocal so I went in. Turns out the sheep had gone from being asleep to almost waking up. The screen turns on in green – so the whole room light up in green. I think that must have woken her up. I unplugged the sheep. I will have to look at it again tomorrow.
