Today was Sofia’s first swimming lesson. It could not have gone any better. She was loving it – all smiles! She hardly looked at me, as there was just too much going on around her, stealing her attention. At one point the swim teacher got water on her face and in her eyes by accident, but Sofia just blinked a few times and got on with the lesson. I was so proud of her. Already it’s clear she will be a much better swimmer than her mother, although that doesn’t take a lot… π
Everyone said she’d sleep really well, and she did. She fell asleep instantly in the car on the way home (although it was only a 6min ride). I tried to feed her because of how long it had taken (needing to give them a feed an hour before you get there, and being there 20min prior because it was the first time). However, I was unable to feed her properly because of how tired she was, so I just put her to bed. 15min later she woke up screaming, and after that I just could not get her to sleep until her bedtime at 7pm.
I took her for a walk with Maja and Tian at 5pm, thinking the walk would put her to sleep, but that didn’t work… I guess too many impressions for the little one. I am sure next time will be better afterwards.
