Reiduns 93th birthday! Still don’t have Internet so can’t FaceTime, but I wish I could be there to celebrate.
Sofia whinged a bit at 5.30, but it didn’t last long so I thought she might fall back asleep… It took about 15min before she whinged/cried again so I went in to get her. We cuddled and read some books before I made brekky. Then Mike got up and joined us :). Afterward we all went for a walk. Sofia got about 15min on the playground and Pablo a free run on the beach :). Sofia was not impressed when we left but luckily moved on pretty quickly. When we got home I thought of taking her to the library, but since she’s been getting up so early I decided to hold off and see. We played and read books, had a snack and then Sofia was so tired I had to put her to bed.
Once Sofia was asleep Mike and I had a dip in the pool. Then the neighbour started mowing the lawn:(. I think he woke my little girl up after 1.5 hours… Mike got her. After a snack we went shopping for a few things. At Bunnings I thought we’d give her a little trolly to help keeping her entertained as she was hating it last time we were there. She loved the trolly and started running with it! She knew where she wanted to go and it was rarely where we needed to go so it took awhile to get everything. We ran into a family with a little bit about Sofia’s age. She started squealing and ran up to him. She went in for a half hug, and ran squealing away from him and then went in for another ‘attack’. It was cute, but I could see she scared the little boy a bit – although he seemed better with it than some others have been. I love that she wants to cuddle other kids, I just don’t want her to get hurt. I love her sweetness, and love for sharing. When we got back we had a bit if a play before taking Sofia to dancing at 4pm. Mike came with. Sofia is so funny. Mike got to run a bit after her as well. Sofia very much likes Amaya (a girl that’s 2years and a bit that’s the daughter of a friend of Maja’s). Last time she wanted to hold hands and today she almost ran up and gave her the biggest cuddle. So cute! Then she sat right in front of another girl (maybe 4-5 years old), and then gradually edged back until she got on her lap! She got really comfortable there too ha ha. I didn’t think I could let her sit there so I grabbed her, but the mum was saying; oh that’s alright. They were all smiling and laughing because of our girls outgoingness..
When we got back home Mike made dinner and then it was time for Sofia’s bedtime. She had a bath and then went to bed. Lots of crying going to bed today poor girl. I think she was just tired – or she didn’t want the day to end as we’d both been there throughout the day today…
