Sofia woke up just before 6am, so we wanted to see whether or not she’d go back to sleep. She didn’t and Mike went to get her. He gave her brekky and played with her until I got up at 7.30! Oh yeah – that was nice! Thank you hunny :). Mike did some gardening work whilst I played with Sofia. Then Sofia and I went to rhyme time at the library. It was sooo nice. Both Becky and Venessa was there with their toddlers. We all stayed for a bit longer and the kids played. Then we went home and had an early lunch before bedtime. I cleaned etc for the open home inspection later…
Unfortunately Sofia woke up after 1.5 hours. She was still tired and yawning, but would not go back to sleep. So I got her back up, and of course she filled her nappy 2 minutes after poor girl. We had a snack and played for a bit and then we went to dancing again. It was fun, but Sofia is still not engaging much. She picked up a couple of hula hoops and didn’t let go until the end. A girl came up and grabbed one of them. Sofia just starred at her and refused to let go. I went up to them and explained to Sofia that she had two and that she could be nice and share so they both could have one. Unfortunately the girl didn’t want to wait and the mum took her away before she was able to share. I really thought I got through to her in the end. Afterwards we had a short play at the playground with Maja, Tian, Sol and her mothers group friends. When we got back home Sofia and I shared dinner and then it was bath time. Mike got home just in time to help put her to bed. Sofia went to bed without any protest at around 7pm, but woke up crying at about 8pm. She must have had a bad dream. Luckily she was happy just for cuddles, but I had to stay until she was asleep.
