Sofia woke up at about 6.30am! I got her and cooked brekky. Mike played with Sofia whilst I got everything ready and then we were off to Gymbaroo. As we arrived we bumped into a mother with one little baby in a pram and one 3 year old son on the loose. Sofia could not stop looking at him and she started walking towards him… she went in for the hug (so cute!), but it scared the boy and he was backing away. It ended up with both of them falling over…. At Gymbaroo a girl Sofia’s age came up and gave her a hug. So she finally got her hug :). Sofia had lots of fun. Today she would not sit still, but took off running every chance she got. She started running about a week ago… Sofia almost fell asleep in the car the last 10minutes – I tickled her feet to keep her awake. When we got home I just carried her straight to bed. She was so tired she cried every time I moved her. She fell asleep pretty quickly and she slept for about 2 hours!
When Sofia woke up it was 1pm. We had a snack and a play and then I took Sofia grocery shopping. She also ended up getting a few new books. When we got back she was helping me unpack and I hadn’t thought too much about what I had bought. All if a sudden I hear shattered glass and I turn to see Sofia’s shocked face and a big glass bottle with juice shattered all over the floor. I grabbed her and made sure she wasn’t hurt before I placed her on the other side of the baby gate so I could clean up without worrying about her getting hurt. She wasn’t happy about being there. Would have been interesting to know what she was thinking. Then it was time to make dinner. Sofia was so tired and hanging off my leg the entire time. I was happy I had made the choice to go simple. When Sofia had her dinner she ate well, but then started throwing food on the floor again so I took the food away from her. She then protested and said MEH so I told her I would be feeding her since she was throwing food on the floor. She wanted to feed herself, but gave up and let me do it. Maybe because she understood why I was doing it? Then it was time for her bath. Mike got home when she was in the bath and we out her to bed together.
