Sofia woke me up at 6.30am. She was sooo hungry that I made brekky straight away. Mike was on starvation and took Pablo for a walk. Mike went to work and I played with Sofia. She got tired pretty quickly so she was in bed by 9am and fell asleep very quickly… but the woke up again at 10am and was unable to put herself back to sleep so I got her up.
After a snack we went shopping together. We got a few different things we needed. When we got back Sofia had a late lunch and then it was time for her afternoon sleep. She slept for about an hour.
When Sofia woke up she had a snack and we had a quick play before Nani came back. I had realised that I must have left my phone at the shopping centre somewhere. I went back to the grocery store and they told me they hadn’t going a phone but that they could call the phone… She called and handed me the phone – to my surprise a woman answered. She told me she was stockland management and that one of the employees had found it in the trolley and handed it in. I was so happy I could cry. I wanted to leave a bit of a finders fee for the person who found it, but I had no cash on me. On the way back I also change Sofia’s swimming lesson time to 8.30am on Wednesdays.
When I got back Nani and I played for a bit with Sofia before we started cooking. So nice to have someone to cook with! Sofia was continuously coming up to us and wanting to be picked up. She was yelling MEH for us to give her more foods to taste. I’m glad she loves food, but the concern is how we’ll go cooking when Nani is no longer living her and can help out. Sofia does this thing now with her feet that makes it hard to put her down. She also puts her legs up when I try to put her into the high chair or a trolley so her legs don’t go in. Funny, but frustrating at the same time.
Whilst we were eating dinner Mike got home and ate with us. Sofia ate a lot for such a little girl. She really enjoyed her food. Afterwards Sofia and Mike cuddled whilst I got everything ready. Then it was bath time and bedtime. It was 7.30pm before she was in bed.
I feared she’d protest like she did the other nights – especially since I have let her fall asleep on me the last two nights, but she only protested a little. Then she just got over it and tried to find her sleep. She did really well.

Sofia is so good, she just wants to see what we are doing, she wants to be part of, helping to cook too…….-:)
