Sofia woke up at 6.30am! Wow, I got a chance to woke up slow and to look at Facebook and a few other things. So nice :). Mike took Pablo for a walk and Sofia had brekky. She is officially not breast feeding anymore – my big girl :). Afterwards Mike left for work and Sofia and I played. It started raining and I took her outside and quickly stood in the rain so she could feel it. After we stepped out of the rain she put her hand out so we jumped back in for a little bit longer. When we were in the dry again it really started raining and it just kept coming down quicker and quicker. All of a sudden Sofia whinged and wanted back in – she looked genuinely a bit freaked out. Then she had her morning nap at 9am. She had a snack just before bed. Sofia slept for almost 1.5 hours.
When Sofia woke up she had a snack and we played for a but before we headed off to swimming. Sofia did really well at swimming today. She was very cuddly there too, and that’s a first. Even the teacher commented on it. She was still active though and seemed to enjoy herself. Afterwards we hang out with Venessa and Tate for awhile – we talked and Sofia had lunch. It was very nice. When we got home it was pretty much time for her afternoon nap. Sofia slept for another 1.5 hours.
When Sofia woke up we played, read books and had some fun. I also managed to actually get some housework done after not having any energy for a few days. Cleaning up a bit made me feel much better as well. Win win :).
Mike got home whilst we were still playing – nice to have him home early for once. We started watching ‘Brave’ on the big screen (wall in the playroom). Sofia was fascinated and loved it the first 10min, but then lost the interest a bit. Then it was pretty much time for dinner anyway so we stopped. Sofia took the spoon and started using it herself and she was going at a great space. I was so impressed I called my mum (Mormor Jette). Sofia ate the whole bowl apart from the last couple of spoons herself!
Then it was time for bath and bed. Sofia took a long time to fall asleep poor thing, but hopefully she’ll have a good night sleep.
