Woke up around 5.30, but dragged it out till 6am. I fed her and gave her a snack. With these days of not being able to eat much I think my milk supply is pretty much gone so I don’t think there is much point in continuing… Mike took over so I could have a shower, then we swapped so he could get ready for work. Sofia didn’t have much for brekky. Afterwards we played for a bit before I put Sofia to bed at 8.30. She slept till 10.30! She had a bit of a temperature today as well but not as much as yesterday.
I put Sofia down for her nap at around 1.30pm and I don’t know if she really slept at all. I had to go back in, I gave her neurofen and tried to stay there till she fell asleep but I realised that she was making herself more awake to be with me. I left and she protested for about a minute and then at least tried to sleep for about 20minutes before she started crying. I went in and tried to put her back to sleep and she was not having it. She was sitting up and telling me in every way that she wanted out of the room. So after about 20minutes of trying I gave up and brought her back out. She played for awhile, but she was constantly on me – wanting cuddles and attention. I couldn’t get more than a couple of steps away from her, but it seemed to be teeth more than anything. She was trying to chew on everything! Really chewing down on her arm etc. – and she wasn’t hungry. Although I did give her a frozen small slice of bread. I thought it could be good for the gums and teeth to suck on. She bit down and kept munching away until it was gone. She didn’t want anything else I tried to feed her though. Then again I haven’t been able to eat much else than bananas and crackers without getting nauseous so that could be why…
Next it was dinner time. I had to negotiate my way to her eating her dinner. She had lots to drink (she’s definitely kept her liquid intake up today). Everything made her cry. She was clearly tired and not feeling the best. Then it was bath time and bedtime. Sofia didn’t protest when I left, but started cry/ whinging a couple of short spurts after about 5-10minutes. I went back in and she just wanted out of the bed. I kept laying her back down and stroking her tummy etc. She just seemed to want to be with me and not wanting sleep. I didn’t know what to do – I left with her crying… Then Mike got home and he went in. About 45min later he came back out and Sofia was asleep. Well done hunny! I really wouldn’t have made it today. I’ve got nothing left atm…
I really hope Sofia sleeps ok tonight. I’m worried it will be a rough night…

Oh, I’m so sorry for both of you, mummy and daughter. But I do feel that it is the teeth in Sofia’s case, even little ones have to suffer, so sad. I really hope that the tummy bug you had, Mona, will leave you completely now so that you get your appetite back……. -:)
