Sofia woke up at 6 – yay! I grabbed her and she had a feed and a snack. Mike took Pablo for a walk whilst Sofia and I had brekky. Then Mike left for work and Sofia and I played and read a couple of books. When I hung out some wash on the line outside I saw a spider had gotten real comfortable and made a HUGE nest. Then it was time for Sofia’s morning nap.
When Sofia woke up we played and had lunch (Claire’s rice/vegetable dish). Thank you Claire, we both enjoyed it :). Afterwards we went grocery shopping. I tried letting her walk in the mall when we were heading out, but too much was going on around her and she kept falling on her bum as she was watching everyone else and not seeing where she was going. I ended up putting her back into the shopping cart to get out of there. She didn’t seem to mind. When we got back it was time for her afternoon nap.
Sofia woke up a bit after 3pm. Now that she was put to bed later yesterday, she woke up 30min later and she still slept well during the day. I took her to the park (sadly without Pablo because he keeps bumping into her and being in the way when she’s walking). We had a bit of walking practice. She does need to be pushed a bit I have realised. When she doesn’t get my help she just walks and gets on with it – even gets up by herself. Or tried to, falls but gets back up. Otherwise she wants both my hands to hold on to and she really doesn’t need them now. It was a good little walk I think – and we looked at some trees, birds and dogs. When we got back we played for a bit. She has started banging her toys into the ground now, so I say no, take away the toy and try to redirect. Saying she can throw the ball. It worked quite well today, but I had to do it 3-4 times. Lucky for me she loves throwing the ball. Then it was time for dinner and the nighttime routine. Mike got home in time for the bath. It works so much better with bedtime at 7, so tried that tonight as well. Sofia was in bed at 6.30, but she didn’t fall asleep until 7.00.

Well, well that spider……. It looks quite big that thing……
I’m glad you liked the rice-mixture, and Sofia ate too, good girl, great. We shall have it again, and it does not take long to make. …….-:)
