Sofia woke up at 5.30am again, but managed to drag it out to 6am. She is so good, trying to get a bit more sleep and talking to herself a bit. She had a snack and a play before brekky. She immediately reached for her new shoes and wanted them on (same thing when she woke up after her morning nap). Afterwards she played a bit more before her morning nap.
When Sofia woke up we went to Kaylene, Will and Andrew’s place for lunch and a dip in their pool. It was very nice! Great lunch, and great for Sofia to play with Andrew’s toys. They were actually very cute today. Andrew lent Sofia his toys and was at his most talkative (he’s usually very quiet and shy). Sofia was also surprisingly nice. She’s been hitting quite a bit lately so I was on guard. When we got back it was time for Sofia’s afternoon nap. It was a bit overdue… Nani Claire was at home waiting for us, so Sofia got a few cuddles in first. Then she went to sleep surprisingly well and slept until 3pm.
When Sofia woke up she played with Nani for a bit, and we all spent some time together. Then Mike and I went to visit Maja in the hospital and to say hi to the newest member of their family; Sol. Sofia stayed with Nani. They played together and had a great time :). Mike and I took two cars, and Mike left at the hospital (after saying hi) to get a contract signed (a real estate agent never rests) and I stayed and talked to Maja for awhile. All of a sudden it was 5.15pm and I realised I should be giving Sofia dinner, so I got out of there. It was nice to see Maja and that she was doing well (under the circumstances). The little one had given her sleep so far, so she wasn’t doing to badly.
When I got home Sofia and Nani greeted me. So nice to see Sofia’s face light up and reach out to me whilst saying; ‘mamma’. Thank you Claire for taking such good care of Sofia today, for realising she was hungry and giving her some food and for leaving us lovely healthy food.
Sofia had her dinner and then Nani went home. Sofia had her bath and Mike got home just in time for the night time routine. We put her to bed without any issues. It did take her a little while to get to sleep however. Sofia was in bed just before 7pm. Hopefully she’ll have a good night sleep.
Here is a few videos of Sofia with her daddy in the pool:

It is always a pleasure to look after Sofia, we are having a good time together. She makes me laugh as well and I constantly talk to her or ask questions, though I do not know whether she understands something or not, but it seems to help for the fun of it……-:)
