Sofia woke up early again, but managed to drag it out till 6am. I got her, gave her a feed (pretty much down to one now) and a snack before we all went for a walk. Sofia did quite a bit of walking this morning (in the park – wearing her new Nike shoes). She manages to get back up by herself about half of the time now. She’s getting very good. When we got back Sofia and I had brekky whilst Mike left for work. Afterwards it was time for Sofia’s morning nap.
When Sofia woke up I grabbed her and took off straight away. We managed to get a look at 3 open homes! Sofia did very well. She was very patient. In the last open home she saw two girls (4-7 maybe) and started squealing and launched herself towards the floor. So I put her down (warning the little girls first that Sofia really likes them), and she walked straight up (unassisted) with her hand stretched out and gave them a hug. So cute! She did that to two other girls as well. And holding on to their dresses. Then I realised that’s what’s happened to her a few times now with older girls. They see her – run up to her and start touching her and lifting her. She probably thinks that’s the way girls behave… This was just cute however :). When we got back I made lunch and then it was time for her afternoon nap.
When Sofia woke up she had a snack and then she played a bit by herself whilst I was on the computer. Then she came with some books and I read to her. We played a little bit and then it was time for dinner. At the same time we facetime’d with Mormor Jette. I had the program open so that when Mormor Jette called I would receive the call. However, Sofia knows what that program means now and she kept yelling at me to put it on. I kept trying to explain that Mormor would call very shortly. So funny! Nice to see and talk to Jette, but it was a bit too hectic because it was bath time etc. I didn’t even ask about Charleston… Bad daughter :(.
After I had got Sofia out of the bath Mike came home, so we put her to bed together.
Today was a tough day. Sofia pooed 4 times – and every time was a struggle :(. Sofia has been ‘fighting’ me almost every step of the way today. If I ask her to do something, she’ll do the opposite. She also keeps trying to hit poor Pablo in the face so I have to be very careful. She hit Mike a couple if times at bed time, and she hit me… Not hard, but still. You can see she knows she’s not supposed to because she gives a cheeky smile and looks at you whilst she does it. Apparently she doesn’t understand no at this stage, so we just keep saying ‘no hitting’ and to give us a cuddle instead. Seemed to work a little… and then it’s just repetition I suppose.

Jenter gjør jo sånn, hun lærer fort ☺️
Så koselig med FaceTime – og ikke rart du ikke fikk spurt. Det var kjempefint i Charleston. Det kan vi snakke om en annen gang.
