Sofia woke up then minutes before 6, but managed to drag it out till 6am. It’s like she now knows we’ll get her when it’s time. Mike got her this morning, which was nice, just to relax in bed awake for 2 minutes. After a snack we all went for a walk. Sofia in the trike (she loves it :)). When we got back Mike got ready for work and Sofia had brekky. Afterwards Sofia and I walked around the house until it was time for her morning nap. She was not happy about going to bed, although that seems to be the new trend, and she only slept for 30minutes. I went in and put her back down. She tried a few times to get back to sleep before she cracked it. So I went in and put her on the boob. She fell sleep, but woke up when I put her down and she was inconsolable. I got into the cot with her and she calmed down, but then she started wanting attention so I got out, gave her a cuddle and left. She got very upset and it got worse so I got her up.
After a snack we went to chipmunks. She had a fun time and she got to crawl over and under things and walk around. When we got back I gave her a late lunch and put her down for her afternoon nap. After about 25minutes Nani Claire came to baby sit whilst I was at the osteopath. I had about 15minutes before I had to go – and Sofia woke up. I went in and got her back down. Sofia calmed down and tried to sleep after a few minutes. I had to go so I was happy when Claire texted me that she’d fallen back asleep. When I got back Sofia smiled and then dropped her lower lip like she was going up cry. We hugged and she was good. I tried a couple of times to put her down however (after cuddling for a few minutes), but she cried so I ended up carrying her around with me for awhile. Nani Claire took off (thank you sooooo much for baby sitting so I could get a treatment!) and I took Sofia to the playground where we met up with Maja and Tian. It was nice to see them both. There were 3 little girls (6-7 years old) that were all over Sofia. They came up and said she was so cute and that they liked her hat, then proceeded to carrying her around. I ran after to make sure Sofia was happy and she was smiling and laughing for the first part. The went down a little slide with her, which was cool because it was short and I was right there holding on to her going down. Then they wanted to put her on the big slide and I said no, I don’t think that’s a good idea. Thank you for being so nice to her etc. One of the girls wouldn’t let up and kept grabbing her to carry her around, but I could see Sofia wasn’t happy anymore so I tried to end it. The pushy little girl still grabbed on to Sofia so she started crying. She couldn’t understand why, so I just said it’s too much for my little girl. Thank you to all the girls but it’s too much for my girl, she’s a bit tired etc. It was time to leave the playground.
When we got back home I got dinner ready and then started the nighttime routine. Mike got home when Sofia was in the bath so we put her to bed together.
Whilst we were reading a book today Sofia took over and wanted to turn the pages. She did well a few times, but seemed to get frustrated quite quickly and gave up…

She is just the sweetest girl, and to me, she always seems happy whenever I see her…..-:)
