I woke up at 5am because I have for awhile now, and Sofia made a noise… However, she put herself back to sleep on her own and slept till 5.55! I couldn’t go back to sleep however… I decided to try a thing I have read about not letting her out of bed until 6am. She was not really a fan (stretching her hands up at me – sooo hard to put her back down and walk back out), but she did quieten down quickly and I went in at 6am with a big grin on my face and said an extremely happy ‘good morning’. The spots on her face where looking a lot worse this morning, and Mormor Jette commented that it might be chicken pox got me worried. We all went for a walk on the beach. It was very nice. When we got back Sofia and I had breakfast whilst Mike got ready for work. Afterwards Sofia and I played before her morning nap at 9am. Whilst she was sleeping I called and cancelled swimming and booked an appointment with a doctor.
When Sofia woke up she had a snack and a play before we went to the doctors appointment. Sofia had a low-grade fever, but two doctors said it wasn’t chicken pox and that to have a birthday party on Sunday would be ok :). When we got back we had lunch and then it was time for the afternoon nap.
When Sofia woke up I took her shopping for a new cake tin for her birthday – plus a few more things. Just as we headed for the car she vomited a bit down her clothes and in my hand – and of course the keys were at the bottom of the pram with all the groceries on top… When we got home we played for a bit and then Mike got home early (after slaving away all day for the benefit of his family, what a selfless man! I still can’t believe how lucky I am!!! Inserted by Mike)- yay! He (expertly – inserted by Mike) put up the blockout blinds I had bought yesterday for Sofia’s room. Afterwards we put Sofia to bed. We’ll see if she manages to sleep ok in the morning now… Sofia was in bed and sleeping by 6.15pm. At 7.10 I left to have dinner with Maja at a restaurant. She’s got 5 weeks left of her pregnancy now. It was so nice to talk when the attention is not on the kids. The food was great :). On the way home I got pulled over for a breath test – my first ever. I passed 🙂
During playtime today I asked Sofia where her doll was and she grabbed the first one, and then the second one.
