Sofia made a little crying sound at 4.30, but then thankfully fell back asleep. She woke up at 6.30… Mike took her and the dog for a walk whilst I got a few things done and had a shower :). Then Mike had a shower and Sofia and I played. We all had breakfast and a play before Sofia’s morning nap. She slept for an hour and a bit.
When Sofia woke up she had a snack and I got everything ready for swimming. New class today so that was exciting :). I love this new ‘teacher’, she sings songs and explains things so you can understand. I think we’ll be happy here :). Sofia had the best time – as usual, and it didn’t go unnoticed. Everyone always remarks how happy she is :). When we got home Sofia had lunch and then a bit of a play before her afternoon nap. She slept for almost 1.5 hours.
When Sofia woke up we went to a play park where we met up with Kaylene and Andrew. It’s been awhile, and it was nice to see them. Not much conversation for us mums however with two toddler running in separate directions. Sofia wants to climb absolutely everything. She still won’t let go of one hand, but she will tackle a big hill… So funny. When we got back it was time for dinner. Mike had cleaned house – such a nice surprise. I’ve got the best man :). After Sofia had dinner we went through the nighttime routine and she went to bed with no fuss or protests.
Sofia had a couple of short cries before Mike and I went to bed. Then she woke up crying again at 11pm. Mike went in a couple of times and then I went in. Nothing seemed to help and I ended up taking her up and into the guest bedroom with me. At 1am she was still not sleeping, and she was getting more and more chatty and awake :(. So I put her back into her own bed and let her cry for a little bit. She settled and went to sleep.
Here is a few videos of Sofia:
