Sofia woke up crying at 5.30am. I’m getting worried it will be 15earlier every day now ha ha. I got up with her and Mike took Pablo for a walk. Sofia and I had breakfast and played. Sofia was in her walker-thing. So funny… She gets up (as she’s taller now) and uses the front table for support and then walks. She went back and fort in the hall whilst I was standing on the other side with open arms. Then I had to put her down for her morning nap at 9am. She only slept for 30minutes.
When Sofia woke up we headed out for some shopping. I got heaps of stuff for her 1 year celebration, and I also ordered 5 balloons to be filled with helium so I need to pick them up on the day. She will also be wearing a princess crown in the day. I got a cake form in the shape of a ballet dancing bear. Afterwards we sat down for lunch. Sofia attracts attention. As soon as I put her down she makes a straight line for people and go straight up to them with a blinding smile. After lunch we went to Baby Bunting and got Sofia a sun hat. Sofia almost fell asleep in the car, but I just managed to get her into bed. She protested a bit because she was a but overtired. Sofia only slept for 30minutes and I could not get her back to sleep.
When Sofia woke up we went to a playground. A girl from mothers group (Venessa) and her son Tate joined us there, which was nice. Sofia was only interested in sitting down and playing with the bark until she saw Tate walking around. All of a sudden she couldn’t walk around enough. She picked up this weird looking root and before we left I was digging out pieces of wood from her mouth. When we got home Sofia had dinner and then Mike got home, so we did the nighttime routine together. Sofia was asleep by 6.15pm.
Here is a couple of videos of Sofia on the Jolly Jumper with a sound mat:
