Sofia woke up at 5am and made some noise, checking to see if someone would come and then laid back down and tried to find her sleep. She cried a short time and I was about to get out of bed, but then it had stopped again and she slept for another 20min.
I got up and got her, played with her and gave her a snack (that she only had half of). When Mike got up we all went for a little walk to the park. There she had little bits of paw paw that she seemed to really enjoy. On the way back there was a little play area and once again she’s completely mesmerised by the bark on the ground. She got sooooooo dirty – but she was totally loving it. When we got back I put Sofia to bed and she slept for about an hour.
When Sofia woke up I gave her a snack and then we went to have her measured before swimming. She was 8.3kg (which sing much more than last month) and 73cm. Mike took Sofia swimming this time, so I got the chance to take some photos and videos. Poor Sofia was not really herself before we got there. I think her stomach might have bothered her (as she had hard little pellets in her nappy this morning) and her teeth (she keeps chewing on everything atm). She was cuddling me lots as we were waiting to get into the water and looking average. As soon as she had been in the water for awhile she loosened up and started having fun – I think she forgot she was feeling miserable. When we got back she had lunch and then we played for awhile before I put her to bed again. She slept for a good 1.5 hours.
When Sofia woke up we played, had dinner and went through the nighttime routine. Sofia was not that happy going to sleep tonight… I had to go back in, but she was soooo warm poor thing. I got her into a thinner sleeping bag and left the room. It took her a little while, but she found her sleep.
Here are some short videos from swimming: swim1, swim2, swim3, swim4, swim5, swim6, swim7, swim8, swim9, swim10, swim11, swim12, swim13, swim14.
