Sofia woke up crying just before 5am. I was sooooooo tired! It must be teeth… I tried to get her back to sleep for an hour and then finally just gave up, and got up with her. We played and read books. When it was time for breakfast Sofia sat down herself! I had put her into the chair so she was standing, and today she sat down herself :). Mike got up and took over when I was feeding her breakfast so I could have a shower. It made me wake up a bit more at least :). Then Mike got ready and I put Sofia to bed for her morning nap as she was sooooo tired, and it was 8.30am so I didn’t think I should drag it out for longer. Then Mike left for work and Sofia slept until 10am.
When Sofia woke up we played and organised a tiny last piece in regards to the Father’s Day present. We played for awhile in the living room / kitchen as well so that Pablo could join us. I do feel like he keeps getting better – slowly… BUT only when I’m around. As soon as I turn my head Sofia is at the baby gate feeding the dog toys or food (teething biscuit) AND the dog is right there licking away… Sofia is getting more and more curious about the rocker/buggy thingy as well. I have put her on it a few times today and the last time we were rocking for a little while. So funny though as she doesn’t want her feet on each side – she puts them up in front of her… Sofia was asleep by 1pm and woke up at 2.15pm.
When Sofia woke up we had a snack and then we took off to visit Kaylene and Andrew. It was very nice to see them again – it’s been awhile. We went for a walk together to the park. There was a woman there with two kids and her daughter was very interested in Sofia – letting her use her spades. The woman heard my accent and asked where I was from. My accent was familiar to her. Her husband was a helicopter pilot and had part of his training in Norway! So random and nice :). After a little while it started drizzling and we walked back. Then Sofia and I went home. She was complaining a bit in car home – so was sooooo tired poor thing.
When we got home I got dinner ready, drew the bath and got my little girl into bed. She was in bed trying to sleep when Mike got home and she started crying after a few minutes. Maybe she could hear him? So Mike went in and said goodnight and stayed with her until she was asleep.
