Sofia slept till 7am (that’s only 7 hours, but she didn’t want to go back to sleep). Mike got up with her and let me sleep. I didn’t get up until 9.30!!!
We all went for a long walk. Natasha pushed the pram with Sofia in it, and Sofia fell asleep pretty quickly and stayed asleep for long enough for Claude, Mike and I walked home from there with the dogs. She woke up on the way back, but no fuss.. All smiles.
When we got back we ate and Sofia got to play with all the toys Alex and Claude had borrowed for her.
We probably should have put Sofia too bed, but shopping in Austria sounded like too much fun to pass up. Especially since it’s only 50min in the car to get there. It was a huge shopping mall! We got a few things for Sofia (necessities), and Mike found some shirts that he liked. Natasha drove Sofia around in the pram at the mall, which she seemed to enjoy. I got alcohol free wine :). We had hoped Sofia would sleep in the car or in the pram, but she didn’t and on the way back she’d had enough and was not happy.
I put Sofia to bed when we got back and she slept for about 2 hours. Then we were almost finished with our dinner. Gorgeous salad (buffalo cheese, prosciutto, peach, green levees, oil, balsamic vinegar) and huge sausages. Sofia had some dinner too. Then Natasha had put a blanket out on the grass and played with Sofia there. Sofia grabbed one finger on each hand and pulled herself up, then went for a bit of a walk. She found it harder as she had to hold herself up and walk… Usually I have offered a bit more support, but grass is softer so I relaxed a bit more. Natasha and Sofia was played well together and Sofia keeps look at her – admiring :).
Mike played tennis with his brother.
Then Sofia had a major eye rub so I picked her up and started the bedtime routine, but shortened… She fell asleep on the boob, but I was too quick putting her down, and she woke up as I put her down. I tried for another 30-40min to get her sleeping, and she was trying, but she couldn’t and was just making cute talking noises … Mike was back as well and we got her back for another hour or so, then everyone went to bed.
As Mike got ready I laid down with Sofia on the bed and waited, but both Sofia and I fell asleep. I woke up as Mike put Sofia to bed. Then we slept too. It was around 10pm.

What a great time for all of you. I’m happy that little Sofia had a good time with her cousins. Norway, Switzerland, Australia, quite a stretch to cover, and it sounds, Sofia did very well…… good girl….-:)
