Sofia woke up when we got into the room to go to bed, and she would just not settle. She seemed to be comfortable laying in my arms, but as soon as I tried to put her down she woke up and cried. I put her in the bed between Mike and I, but she only cuddled for a bit before getting restless and cranky because she was unable to move the way she wanted to. After awhile like that – of trying to sleep whilst she was kicking or punching me in the gut or face and whinging because she couldn’t sleep – I picked her up and put her on her stomach into her bed. I expected a whinge or a protest, but she seemed to be asleep instantly and I could finally get some sleep too. Sofia then woke up at 6ish, so I fed her laying down and she thankfully fell asleep after awhile and let us sleep for another 1.5 hour. I was still feeling very tired, so Mike too Sofia upstairs. My parents took over and he came back downstairs so we both had about an hour more. I woke up that I heard Sofia whinge for a second. I got upstairs and fed Sofia. Then I played with her for a bit before putting her to bed. Mike stayed in bed and when Sofia woke up from her morning nap Mike brought her with him.
Arjan was here and we all went to the mall to get pass photos taken of Sofia for her Norwegian passport. We also had a look at a few shops, bought Nils a present and sat down at the blind cow for nice hot waffles with ‘home made’ cheese – soooo good :).
Mum and I stopped on the way back to do some shopping and Mike put Sofia to bed when they got back. When Sofia woke up it was time for dinner. She then did very well in playing by herself for awhile. Crawling over to boxes and taking toys out if the box.
Then it was time for the nighttime routine. Sofia was too wired – so close to crawling properly and she stood up for the first time! She pulled herself up and stood in the bed! In her sleeping bag – I am impressed. I think she wanted to redo it over and over, so she got frustrated because we wanted her to sleep.
