Sofia woke up at around 1am. She had a rough night from there on and kept waking up whinging and needed help settling… She woke up at 7.45am and we got her upstairs. Then I went back to bed to try and get a bit more sleep, but I only got about 20min. Then we had to get to the photographer for our 4 generations photo. The photographer also took photos of Sofia by herself and with Arjan. We are able to come see them tomorrow as the photographer is going on holiday after that… so it might be awhile until we get the finished product.
Sofia had been a bit extra cuddly and a bit whingey again today, and the first part of the session she was not smiling or had her whole hand in her mouth. Clearly the teeth are bothering her. She did loosen up in the end however and I think especially the photos with Arjan and her turned out great. She was really smiling and laughing then.
When we got back I breastfed her and gave her solids (she had not wanted before we left – so we gave her neurofen… and she was probably very hungry then), played with her and put her down for her second nap.
When she woke up we played and she is more or less able to crawl for a couple of steps now! 4 times she went forwards a couple of steps – yay! Then we had dinner and a bit more of a play before the bedtime routine. Sofia was just not wanting to go to sleep – or rather trying but not succeeding. I finally got her sleeping in my arms.
