Sofia kept giving out little whinges in her sleep every 30min or so from 2am till 5am, then she was awake and whinging softly so I went in to give her a feed and settle her back to sleep.
I woke her up at 7.20am. Sofia was very cuddly. She wanted her books read and when I tried putting her on the floor after just reading 4 books she cried – so it was back up to read a few more books. I went to cook breakfast and she cried when she saw me leave. In the 10min it took to make breakfast I had to keep talking to her and popping my head in so she could see me.
When I am feeding Sofia she had a tendency to just drop the spoon after she’s grabbed it and chewed in it for awhile. Since she loves playing ‘where is Sofia?’ so much I tried a ‘where is the spoon?’ (I have told her spoon for awhile now). She looked at me with a very cheeky smile. I looked down to find the spoon, and there she was holding on to it, and when I grabbed it and said ‘there it is!’ she was still holding on and laughing. It was probably coincidence but it was just so much fun – guess you had to be there ha ha.
Sofia slept for 1.5 hours. Then she kept pulling off the boob, so I expressed to see if that made a difference and she was just loving it! She drank all of it and even cried when it was gone – so I cooked up lunch straight away. She seemed tired but it had not been 2 hours yet, plus I thought she should have her lunch. I should have just put her to bed then. Sofia only slept for an hour. I tried getting her back to sleep but she wouldn’t so I ended up getting her back up.
I put her in the pram and went for a longer walk to the post office – thinking she’d might fall asleep (but probably should have faced her away from me). She was chewing on her chew thing like crazy – my poor little girl. When we got back it was time for her optional 3rd nap. She would not have it and I was unable to help so it was back up for a final feed before bed time routine an hour earlier that usual.
Sofia has started holding herself up with both arms when laying her down. Good for the stomach muscles. She is definitely in training to get out of here he he.

Don’t forget, Mona, Sofia had a whole lot new impressions the day before, on the swing and otherwise in the park……….. -:)
