The fun of splashing

Sofia woke up at 3am and then again at 7am. That is perfect for our swimming at 11am.

Sofia is doing so well at swimming. Everyone is commenting on it. She’s so alert and ready to go. Twice she was under water for a brief moment where no one held her – before I caught her. Today she discovered she can hit the water surface and splash water. She did it a few times near the end.

She was sooo happy and wired afterwards she did NOT want to go to bed. I felt I had too little milk so I decided to feed her lunch before putting her back to bed. It seemed to work… she slept for about 50min. Things are clearly different, because swimming used to make her very tired.

We played for a bit before going back to bed. When she woke up she did not want much milk and kept pulling off whinging. I thought it had to be the gums so I gave her some neurofen and tried again after 20min. She seemed ok to feed then. After that Sofia had a whole avocado! And then a little bit more milk… I seriously don’t know where it all goes ha ha.

Mike got home and we put her in the bath. Oh my goodness how much fun it is to splash!
