Sofia slept till 6.30am today. She seemed a bit sleepy in general and she was very cuddly, but she was in a good mood and did not have a fever.
When Mike left she all of a sudden said DA. Hopefully that will lead to DADA in no time :).
Sofia slept for 1.5 hours so it suited well to take a chance and go to swimming. I was a bit worried she would have a massive code brown situation in the pool since she hadn’t had on in a day and a half. No such thing I am happy to report. Sofia was a bit slower and not quite with it, however she did seem to still enjoy being in the water so I’m glad we went. Aned (a girl at swimming that has two girls – one of them called Sofia with an F :)) wanted us to go for coffee or something one day so I gave her my number.
On the changing table she pulled the valcro on her nappy all the way off! I’m never letting her play around in just her nappies anymore ha ha.
When we got back she was pretty exhausted and wired so I fed her and put her to bed. She slept for almost 3 hours! I was about to go in an check for a pulse! When she woke up I fed her again, then put her down on the play mat to prepare her solid meal and then fed her again. Whilst feeding her she got super tired again and could not stop rubbing her eyes – result; green peas all over her pretty face ha ha. Too funny. I tried putting her down for a nap, but she just wouldn’t sleep. I ended up picking her up (as it was less than an hour before starting her bedtime routine) and playing with her. Mike also had a bit of a play, and then we talked to mormor on FaceTime. That was very nice :). After starting the nighttime routine I realised I had not fed her solids twice today, and that might be why she still seemed hungry, so I fed her just before her bath.
Mike took off after her bath to get his new car, so I put Sofia to bed. As I put her into the sleeping bag (which is Mikes usual task when he is home in time) she looks right at me and says; “DA?”. My heart just melted and I laughed and said; “yes, that’s right. DADA”. Then when I picked her up she was staring at the door. This might all be in my head, but it felt like she was looking for her dad. I mean… she had seen him just before, so where could he have gone? My beautiful clever girl 🙂
